The Summer Mini Catalogue is HERE!

The Summer Mini Catalogue is here and choca-block with fabulous new stamp sets and must have products.

Click here to have a look for yourself.

I can't wait to start creating new designs with the Framelits dies and the co-ordinating Apothecary Art stamp set has so many possibilities. I'm also really excited about the Simply Scored scoring tool, it is going to make scoring cards, boxes and rosettes a breeze, I can lie my card flat and make sure all the creases end up exactly where I want them. The twitterpated fabric and Designer Series Papers are a gorgeous colour combination with some really sweet ditzy designs, and what better way to celebrate the queens Jubilee this year then with a good ol' British Tea Party, decorated with the Tea Shoppe stamp set. I already have a class planned around the Blossom punch as I don't think you can ever have enough flower punches (or butterflies for that matter.) If any of these lovelies catch your eye, just drop me a line and I will be happy to order them for you.

6 places have already gone for my classes, but there are still 4 spaces left, I would love to have you there, email me today to reserve yourself a place.

P.S The Starter kit for New Demonstrators has changed and now it's even better value. I would love to have u join the StampinBerry team. Click here to find out more.

Spring Blossom Class

Isn't this time of year inspiring! Spring is my favourite time of the year there is such a sense of hope and anticipation in the air. To celebrate I have organised a whole class based on the beauty of spring and the fabulousness of the new "Blossom" punch that will be making its premier appearance in the Summer Mini Catalogue (out on the 1st of May!) There will be two classes. The first on Friday 11th May 7pm-9.30pm and the second is on Saturday 12th May 11am-1.30pm. There are only 5 spaces at each class so contact me soon to register! The class will cost £5.50 and will include all materials, light refreshments a door prize and you're own copy of the new mini catalogue. If you would like to have your very own Blossom punch to use at the class the price of the class will be £20. I will be teaching you 3 gorgous projects: A chic Thank You card, A Flower Pot card and A Petal Cone Die Favour Box. For more details or to book your place please don't hesitate to contact me.

A Quick Thank You.

I received my pre-order from the Summer Mini Catalogue this week and finally got to try a few of the bits out last night. You are going to LOVE what Stampin' Up! Have to offer this Summer. There are some really gorgeous 'Must have' products. The basic design for this card was a CASE from one I saw on Split Coast Stampers recently. I changed a few things to my own taste, but I really liked the way this card showcases the new Blossom Punch.(A person can never have too many flower punches!) Here I have punched the flower twice out of Poppy Parade card stock and layered it with the large flower from the Boho Blossoms Punch in Basic Black and a glittery black brad. The banner is cut from the Petal Cone Die, which I stamped with my message and trimmed down to fit behind the flower. I'm planning a workshop in the next few weeks so that you can come along and try out a few of these new exclusive Summer Mini Specials for yourself. and get a chance to look through the catalogue. I promise you, you won't be disappointed! Drop me a line if you'd be interested in attending. I'll be posting again soon with all the information.

Time Flys!

My Little One turned One this week. I can hardly get my head around just where this year has gone it literally feels like yesterday that we tentatively carried our tiny new bundle through the front door and now here she is strutting around the place winning us all over with just the smallest smile. So little time and yet my world has changed completely and forever. To mark this special landmark I decided to make her a cake. I love to bake but don't get the opportunity to do it so often these days. I decided on a Lemon drizzle sponge as that is my absolute favourite flavour in the spring and have noticed that Scrappy is partial to zesty flavours herself. I layered it with lemon cream cheese frosting and Lemon curd and yes, it was delicious if i do say so myself.
I had planned to sit and make her card the night before her birthday however Bubs had plans of her own and refused to go down to sleep so I ended up having to throw one together really quickly when she finally flaked out. I worked on the same theme as the tag that I made earlier in the week as I quite like how it turned out. I think the card could have done with a couple of pearls or sparkles, but considering it was a rush job I can't be overly critical :)
This last year has been the hardest and yet the most rewarding and most wonderful of my life. Who knows what this next year has in store for my precious little family.

Sunflowers in the Sunshine.

We have been enjoying a glorious week of sunshine. Seeing as this can be quite a rare event here in the UK, I have been spending as much time as I can topping up my Vitamin D levels, hence the lack of crafting but after my last order turned up I had to have a little play with some of my new things. I was most anticipating the arrival of my Two Tags Bigz Die (115954) I've seen some lovely projects made with these dies, they're so versatile: book marks, tags, party favours. I decided to go for a Spring themed bookmark and tried my hand at a sunflower using the daisy on the Blossom Party Originals Die from the Spring Mini I punched out a circle and embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. The Butterfly is once again from the Beautiful Wings Embosslits, and I finished it off with Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon and the stamped image in Certainly Celery is from the Forever Young Stamp Set.
Snow is predicted for later in the month so I guess I'll have to make the most of this while it lasts.

Showers (of treats) in April :)

Sale-A-Bration has come to an end for another year (boo-hoo). Only to be replaced by yet another fabulous incentive (hooray!). During April spend just £45+ on any of our current Stampin' Up! goodies and you can pick a Designer Series Paper set from the four on offer :) I love Stampin' Up's papers. They're a perfect weight for not only making embellishments and scrap book pages but can also stand up to being made into boxes and favours and they come in so many gorgeous colours and designs. The beauty of Stampin' Up! Is that everything co-ordinates so you can find ribbons, inks, and card stock in the same colours to give all your paper crafts a really classy polished finish. To place an order or for more information please don't hesitate to drop me a line. I'm always happy to help. Click here for more information.

P.S You only have until the end of April to order from the Spring Mini Catalogue. Many of the stamp sets and accessories are exclusive to this catalogue. Order now to avoid disappointment;)

7 Days and Counting...

Haven't the last 2 Months flown by! Can you believe that Sale-a-bration 2012 is almost at it's end. I have really enjoyed trying out and demonstrating the different stamps and I will miss the Everyday Enchantment Papers as they are BEAUTIFUL:. My favourite Stampin' Up! papers ever!I will be sad to see them go. But I'm sure Stampin' Up! will have something equally fabulous to reward all our wonderful customers with next month:)
Friday was my last SAB party and I demo'd a set of 3x3 cards using the sprinkled expressions SAB set. I must admit that I wasn't keen on this set when I first saw it but since using it and having seen the great projects other people have made with it I've seen what a versatile little set it is. I CASE'd the flower card from the SoShelli blog and worked the other cards on the same theme, these were my Hostess gift in a little presentation box, which I hope my wonderful Hostess was pleased with.

For the Make 'n' Take I showed them how to make these cute little Easter baskets. I used the Bigz Scallop Square Die to cut out the base of the basket and then they had the choice to either stamp a design onto the paper or to emboss it using one of my gorgeous embossing folders (which everyone chose to do, they were all very excited to get to try out the fabulous BigShot:) My Hostess has been Ummming and Ahhhing about getting one so I decided to do a project that showcased it. And she was hooked!
The last day you can order to qualify for the free SAB stamp sets is the 31st of March. Just order a minimum of £45 of Stampin' Up! goodies and you can pick a stamp set from the SAB selection or those beautiful papers. Contact me for information on how to order.
